About The Adventure Club
We are all about bringing the essence of childhood back to the basics. This includes educational nature learning, arts and crafts, physical activity, and unstructured free play.
We are a screen-free zone for our kids to run around barefoot, explore the beautiful great outdoors, make friends, create art, and fall in love with the active games we all loved as 90’s kids. We’ll incorporate games such as: Kick-the-Can, Red Rover, Capture the Flag, Freeze Tag, Sharks-and-Minnows, and many more.
Technology can be a great tool; however, with the world at our fingertips, it can sometimes be a challenge to get our kids in the great outdoors! Whether you’re a screen-free family or simply wanting to incorporate more outside hours for your kids, this program is for you!

Bethany Nelson
My name is Bethany. I'm a mother of two boys and wife to a local drummer in town, who also has a passion for painting outside of homeschooling. In the past, I worked as a children’s Art Teacher before becoming a full-time Nanny. Teaching and spending intentional time with children is what I do best, and I thoroughly enjoy the work. Adventure Club flourished from a desire to get my little ones out of the house more to burn off their energy, and I realized there’s many more families that wish the same. We're looking to add more adventure buddies to our club to enjoy our weekly adventures, and I hope you’ll join us.
